ok, so for the library Summer Reading Program (srp) there was a teen video contest. we had to create a video and turn it in by the 13th.
i didn’t get my idea until the 12th…
but the librarian, Krissy, told us all that she’d extend the deadline to friday because everyone was having troubles… anyway. so hannah and I went out and filmed the whole thing. it’s a really cool video about a girl and a bunch of pairs of shoes.
so she filmed it but then we tried to edit the files. they’re .MOV files. you can’t edit .MOV files on windows movie maker. which is stupid because they’re MOVie files… whatever. anyway, i tried installing several different programs. like, 10 different things, to convert the files to .WMA or .AVI but no…….. none of them worked.
anyway.
so remember that “pointe of tea” thing i did this time last year? i re-created it and entered that just so i’d have something. because if she didn’t get enough entries, we wouldn’t be able to have the showing at the theatre. so i entered the pointe of tea (see side bar.)
now, i go home and find www.media-convert.com
haha. it works! i was up until 12:45 last night converting files just to make sure it would work, but it does!!!! so now i’m happy.
so i’ll give it to her monday, and she’d take it then. I LOVE YOU KRISSY!!!!! anyway.
so i’ll post it when it’s done.
